This latest addition to the company's expanding retail presence is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2005 on King Street and will be owned and operated by Oakley's wholly owned subsidiary, Oakley U.K. Ltd.

“London has been one of our top target markets for an O Store(tm) and the location we have found in the Covent Garden area is the perfect place to showcase our international brand,” commented Oakley Chief Operating Officer Link Newcomb. “Our U.K. team has been building the Oakley brand for many years and we believe they will do an excellent job of expanding our retail concept in this very important international market.”

Newcomb further commented, “Our international O Store philosophy is to find locations in areas with a youth sports/lifestyle focus and fashion forward thinking. International locations may be opened and managed directly by the existing international Oakley sales and marketing offices around the world or through license agreements with qualified partners such as in the case of our Barcelona, Spain location.”
