To better aid sporting goods business leaders in navigating through the full implementation of the Affordable Care Act, legislation that will affect all sporting goods businesses beginning later this year, NSGA will hold a Healthcare Reform Town Hall on Sunday, May 5, as a part of its 49th Annual Management Conference & 15th Annual Team Dealer Summit.

The event, which will be facilitated by Willis David Wierkiewicz, will include four valuable components:

  • terms and definitions of key aspects of the law
  • an analysis of the potential costs of various play or pay scenarios;
  • usable, actionable advice on how to comply with Health Care Reform and what happens if you dont;
  • discussion to provide answers to pressing questions from leaders in the sporting goods industry

Whether or not a business leader has begun thinking about how Health Care Reform will affect his or her business, now is the time to be developing your plan,” said NSGAs President & CEO Matt Carlson. “This Town Hall speaks to a very important issue all of our industrys businesses face, and will be an extremely valuable addition to this years Management Conference & Team Dealer Summit.
