Tim Bowles has become a consultant to The NPD Group, joining the senior management team of this leading market information company. In addition to serving on the firm’s Executive Committee, he will spearhead several key strategic projects for the firm, NPD announced. He will work part-time with NPD, in order to have some time to pursue his interest in mountaineering.
Tim Bowles has more than 30 years of management experience, and a successful track record of leading international market research organizations. Most recently, he was Group President, International Operations for Information Resources Inc. (IRI). He has also served as Chief Executive of MRB Group, Managing Director of Audits of Great Britain (AGB) and Managing Director of Research Surveys of Great Britain.
An established innovator in the international market research arena, Bowles is a Fellow of the UK-based Market Research Society and has published more than twenty-five papers on research methodology and aspects of the industry. Previously, he was chairman of the Marketing Group of Great Britain and Vice Chairman of the Association of Market Survey Organizations. His professional experience spans survey research, qualitative research, and consumer panels, in addition to his most recent involvement in retail market tracking.
