According to the National Golf Foundation, rounds played in the month of November increased 1.1% on a same-store basis over the same month one year ago. The increase did not materially affect the year-to-date figure which remained at +0.3%. The largest percentage decrease occurred in the Northwest, where rounds played were down 17.2% against the same month last year attributable to a drop in the average number of play days for the region from 24.3 in 2005 to 21.8 in 2006. For the year-to-date period, the Northwest region is just above even, up 0.2%.
