Seattle, WA-based fashion retailer Nordstrom, Inc. announced plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack store in Surprise, AZ, in fall 2025.

Nordstrom Rack president Gemma Lionello said, “We’re excited to grow our footprint in the Phoenix market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience.” Lionello added that in this location, “customers will be able to take advantage of our convenient services such as online order pick up from both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, and they can make returns easily.”

The 26,000-square-foot store will be in Prasada North, a shopping center with Target and Starbucks that is owned and managed by SimonCre.

“We are extremely excited to have Nordstrom Rack joining Prasada North,” said Joshua Simon, founder and CEO of SimonCre. “Their addition to our project is set to continue to elevate the West Valley by offering exciting fashion options that will cater to the growing community’s evolving needs.”

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc. and plays a key role in the company’s “Closer to You” strategy, which focuses on delivering customers a more convenient and interconnected shopping experience across its stores and digital platforms. 

This new location will expand the company’s physical footprint and economic impact in Arizona. It operates one Nordstrom store and 11 Nordstrom Rack stores in Arizona, generating approximately 1,295 jobs statewide.
