Nordstrom, Inc. hired Lisa Price as chief human resources officer, effective November 6. She joins the retailer from Domino’s Pizza, where she has been the restaurant chain’s executive vice president and chief human resources officer since August 2019.
Before joining Domino’s, Price worked on Nordstrom’s HR team from 2015 to 2019, most recently as senior vice president of human resources, supporting human resources teams for key corporate functions, including technology, finance, credit, strategy, legal, supply chain, and store operations.
“With nearly three decades of experience driving and creating culture for large global organizations and previous experience working at Nordstrom, Lisa understands that the success of our business starts with our people,” said Erik Nordstrom, chief executive officer of Nordstrom, Inc. “Great customer service begins with a great employee experience, and I’m confident that Lisa’s expertise will be an asset to our team. We look forward to welcoming her back to Nordstrom.”
Previously, Price spent over 20 years at Starbucks supporting the company’s growth and global expansion in various HR roles, last as vice president of partner resources.
“I am thrilled to be rejoining the talented team at Nordstrom,” said Price. “Nordstrom has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to creating an innovative and inclusive workforce and culture, and I look forward to building on that critical work.”
