Danish outdoor brand Nordisk has partnered with K2 Korea and China’s BA Capital to establish a strategic joint venture in China, including the opening of the first Nordisk stores in the country.
The partnership follows Nordisk’s successful partnership with K2 Korea in South Korea, where Nordisk now operates over 100 stores.
Nordisk said in a media release that “The new entity will focus on introducing Danish outdoor and lifestyle to the Chinese market. By combining Nordisk’s history and brand position, BA Capital’s market insight and K2 Korea’s extensive expertise in design, production, marketing, and retail, the partnership is well positioned to create results with high impact based on the 100 Nordisk brand stores that have opened in South Korea over the past 30 months. The joint venture aims to become a distinctive brand in the Chinese outdoor market and will open the first Nordisk stores in China during 2025.”
Nordisk’s offerings include tents, sleeping bags and outerwear.
