Utah companies are invited to submit nominations for their latest and coolest outdoor gear, product and apparel items for The 11 annual Utah Innovations Award program.
Presented by Stoel Rives LLP and the Utah Technology Council, the Utah Innovation Awards is Utahs premier innovation awards program that recognizes Utah innovations and the companies that created them. Nominations are due Feb. 15, 2013 and can be submitted online.
“While 2013 marks the programs 11th year, innovation has consistently been the heart of Utahs economy and business sectors,” said Rob Yates, 2013 Utah Innovation Awards Co-Chair and Stoel Rives Corporate Partner. “Utah has a very prestigious list of innovative accomplishments and innovating entities, and were honored to have the opportunity to bring recognition to todays innovations.”
The list of past Utah Innovation Awards honorees includes several outdoor companies. Nominations are evaluated by a selection committee comprised of approximately 70 representatives from private industry, government and higher education, many of whom are experts or professionals in the areas represented.
Up to two finalists and one winner may be selected from each category. Award winners will be announced at an Awards Luncheon on April 25, 2013.
The Utah Innovation Awards is sponsored by Utah Business magazine, Webb Audio Visual Communication, Wells Fargo, KUER 90.1 and USTAR.
