Nite Ize announced the acquisition of the U.S. designer and manufacturer of ground anchors, Orange Screw.
An alternative to tent stakes and anchoring devices, Orange Screw stakes are portable ground anchors made from 100 percent recycled materials and come in two sizes, 12.25- and 9.5-inch. They are suited for various outdoor applications, including securing tents, canopies and landscape elements.
“Nite Ize is focused on meeting the increasing consumer demand for outdoor solutions that seamlessly combine functionality with convenience,” said Rick Case, CEO of Nite Ize. “The acquisition of Orange Screw perfectly complements our existing line of high-quality tie down solutions, providing adventurers, campers, and DIYers with ways to secure and confidently anchor their gear.”
“This acquisition marks a meaningful new chapter for us,” said Kirby Erdely, founder of Orange Screw. “Working with Nite Ize has been a dream of mine since I met Rick at a trade show several years ago. I’m excited to see our home-grown brand grow and evolve under Nite Ize’s leadership, and I’m confident that—with their resources—many more people will get to experience the unique products we’ve created.”
