Nikwax Ltd. says it has strengthened its leadership position in the global aftercare industry by making several recent personnel appointments.

 
Chas Fisher, current president of Nikwax N.A., has accepted the position of international marketing and identity team manager for Nikwax Ltd. Under his leadership, the company signed with Chrissy Dorn of Germany-based Chrissy Dorn Business Development Outdoor and Sports and Stephanie Briggs of Spring PR, based in the U.K.
 
“We’re intensifying our European efforts, in Germany and Austria, and in our founding market, the U.K.,” said Fisher. “We see a high potential for growth in the German-speaking regions of Europe, and will greatly benefit from a fresh approach in the U.K. Our goal is to tap into the growing public consciousness for durable goods and increasing aversion to disposable lifestyles. That philosophy is what Nikwax was founded on, so it’s a natural step for us.”
 
Dorn and Briggs will handle public relations for German-speaking countries and the UK.
The global focus is aimed at expanding the company’s lead in the aftermarket care sector of the outdoor, snowsports and travel markets. Nikwax says it will strengthen its commitments to environmental stewardship, human health and sustainable operations as it increases its international presence.
