Just in time for back-to-school, Nike Vision introduced its new Young Athletes collection of optical eyewear and sunglasses.
Nike Vision is expanding its Young Athletes Eyewear collection with five new styles and new colorways of sunglasses. The doctor-approved collection is designed specifically to protect the eyes of kids instead of simply modifying existing adult styles for everyday activity; however, the collection does include the same technological elements that were incorporated in Nike Vision’s Running Sun Collection released last year.
The complete collection offers twenty-eight ophthalmic frames and five sun styles in a variety of shapes, materials and colors in the 6-to-14 age group ranging in price from $145 to $245.
The new styles include integrated cam hinges, core wire temples and a Flexon concealed memory bridge. Select styles feature channels on the temples that enhance airflow similar to Nike’s running sunglass category.
