Nike Inc. spent $120,000 in the second quarter to lobby federal officials on physical education, trade and other business matters, according to a recent disclosure report.

According to a report in the Associated Press, that's the same amount the company spent both a year earlier and in the first quarter of 2010.

The company also lobbied on legislation involving such issues as clean energy and improving nutrition for children in April through June, according to the form filed July 20 with the House clerk's office.
