- Curtis Samuel, RB/WR, Ohio State ran a 4.31 40-yard dash in the 2017 combine
- Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington earned the Jerry Rice Award for being the top player in the FCS
- Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan named All-Big Ten defensive first-team
- Mike Williams, WR, Clemson came back in 2016 after a neck injury to catch touchdown passes in nine of 15 games
- O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama the offensive MVP of the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship
- Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State amassed 4,464 rushing yards during his career — a FSU record
