Nike again ranked as the favorite apparel brand among teens, according to a new survey by investment bank Piper Jaffray.

Among those from upper-income households, about 27 percent cited Nike as their preferred clothing brand. That was followed by 7 percent for Forever 21, and 6 percent naming American Eagle. t. About 21 percent of teens from average-income households chose Nike as their top clothing brand, with 8 percent picking American Eagle.

NIke also ranked as by far top footwear brand for teens in the upper-income bracket, followed by Vans, Converse, Sperry Top-Sider and Steve Madden in the top five.
