Nike has opened its fourth Nike Factory Store in Oregon at the Woodburn Company Stores. The 15,000 store on Arney Road in Woodburn is Nikes 78th factory store in the U.S. Nikes other Factory Stores in Oregon are located in Portland, Bend, and Seaside. The company also has three Nike retail stores in its home state.
“Nike is very proud to open our newest Factory Store at Woodburn Company Stores,” said Ed Stair, General Manager of Nike Factory Stores, on Tuesday evening at a special opening ceremony. “This center attracts a great cross section of consumers from surrounding areas. In return, were able to create 65 full- and part-time jobs and, through our community involvement, provide support to kids in the Woodburn area.”
To celebrate the grand opening, Nike made a footwear and product donation valued at $5,000 to the Woodburn Athletic Futbol Club. The donation is part of NikeGO, Nikes long-term commitment and signature U.S. community affairs initiative aimed at getting kids more physically active. Luis Del Rio, President of the Woodburn Athletic Futbol Club, attended the ceremony and accepted the donation on the clubs behalf.
