Timberland named Drieke Leenknegt vice president, global marketing. Leenknegt will lead global brand marketing to elevate the brand’s creative vision, drive consumer engagement and experience and long-term growth.
Leenknegt brings to Timberland more than 20 years of global communications, product, marketing, and general management experience. She spent much of her career with Nike, holding leadership roles in Europe, China and the U.S. most recently, as Global VP of Influencer Marketing and Collaborations.
As a member of its global leadership team, Leenknegt will work closely with the Timberland marketing team in the Americas, APAC and EMEA regions to drive consumer activations worldwide and especially in the digital space.

Leenknegt, who joined Timberland in June, reports to the Global Brand President with the Global Brand Strategy, Global Environments and Global Brand Communications teams reporting into her. She succeeds Argu Secilmis who has taken on a new role as vice president, global apparel for Timberland.
