Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design, an HBCU in Michigan owned by footwear designer D’Wayne Edwards, announced that Nike is investing $3 million over three years in the college.
This grant will build a talent pipeline for students who want careers in business and design, Edwards wrote in an Instagram post.
The college said in the caption that the partnership would center on “building a talent pipeline for students who want careers in business and design both at Nike and anywhere else these professionals can use the skills they acquire to create value. This is a major step forward for us serving the culture while redefining what higher education looks like.”
