Nike, Inc. has promoted three executives to vice president positions for the Nike brand and has also appointed a new chief information officer and a communications chief for the corporation.


David Heath, who has been with Nike for 15 years and has served as director of U.S. sales since March 2004, has been appointed VP sales for all Nike branded footwear, apparel, and equipment sales in the U.S. Heidi O'Neill, who was most recently GM of U.S. apparel, has been promoted to VP, leading the growth and development of Nike's branded apparel business across all categories in the U.S. Jill Stanton, who was named the EMEA region GM of Nike brand apparel in 2004, has been promoted to VP of Nike brand apparel for EMEA.


Nigel Powell, who joined Nike in 1999 as communications director for the company's EMEA region and has been serving as global brand communications director since September 2004, has been promoted to VP, global communications, leading all brand and business communications activities for the corporation and all subsidiaries.


Roland Paanakker has been promoted to VP & CIO, responsible for all of Nike, Inc.'s information technology infrastructure and applications worldwide.
