Carol Corcoran, most recently senior human resources consultant for Nike Inc., was named to the newly created position of LPGA chief administrative officer. She will assume the role on Aug. 4. At Nike, she  was responsible for human resources and organizational strategy oversight and direction to the divestiture of NikeBauer to new owners.

 

In her role as chief administrative officer, Corcoran’s primary responsibilities will include management and development of human resources, oversight of information technology as well as the administrative activities of the LPGA.

Prior to Nike, Inc., she held senior-level positions with organizations including Tufts Health Plan, Canyon Ranch, Inc., Weber Shandwick Worldwide and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire.
