Nike Golf and Lamkin, Inc. have entered
into a licensing program that will allow Lamkin to sell Nike Golf branded
grips through its distribution channels in the U.S. and Japan.

The arrangement is effective immediately and channel distribution is
expected to be at full capacity by May 1.

“As we have expanded our club offering and word about our proprietary Nike
Golf grips has spread, we have seen the demand for Nike Golf-branded
replacement grips surge,” said Mike Kelly, Club Category Business Director
for Nike Golf. “We’re very familiar with Lamkin’s workmanship and know that
they share our high standards for quality products.”

“There is clearly an increased
demand for private label grips in the re-gripping market and we are very
excited to partner with Nike Golf as the exclusive manufacturer of Nike
Golf-branded replacement grips,” said Lamkin president, Bob Lamkin. “With
our existing distribution channels, the Nike Golf proprietary grips and the
Nike Crossline Series will be immediately available to golfers across the
country.”

Nike Golf’s proprietary grips for the Forged Pro Combo Irons (November ’02)
and Nike Golf Learning System for kids (December ’02) were designed in
conjunction with Lamkin and will be offered in limited sizes as part of the
aftermarket program.
