Nike will celebrate Native American Heritage Month in November with the launch of its N7 Spirit of Protection Collection of men’s and women’s apparel.
Adorned with a graphic black-and-white hawk-feather print and turquoise accents, the apparel capsule is accompanied by exclusive footwear including Air Jordan and Nike Pegasus models.
In the past, N7 collections have been designed to embody the capacity of sport to encourage resilience against adversity. Through its ambassadors, including lacrosse player Lyle Thompson, basketball guard Jude Schimmel and musician and dancer Taboo, N7 seeks to inspire new generations to represent their culture and use sport as a positive agent for change.
Thompson, of the Onondaga Nation in upstate New York, is the inspiration behind this N7 Spirit of Protection Collection.
Each year, these ambassadors are also joined by a number of NCAA basketball teams, who will wear Nike N7 Turquoise uniforms in select games throughout November in celebration of NAHM.
