Nielsen Holdings NV reported revenues at its Expositions segment, which owns the Outdoor Retailer, Interbike, the Health + Fitness Business Expo and the Imprinted Sportswear Shows trade shows, declined 7 percent to $57 million in the first quarter ended March 31 due to the timing of shows.


Expositions EBITDA declined 11 percent to $32 million, again due to shows falling in the second versus first quarter. As a result, Nielsen said Exposition revenues and EBITDA are expected to grow in the double digits in the second quarter.


 

Nielsen hired Credit Suisse Group AG to seek buyers for Exhibition segment in March, according to published reports.
