USA Triathlon and the USA Triathlon Foundation announced a partnership with Newton Running to serve as the exclusive running shoe of both organizations through 2021.
For each year of the partnership, Newton Running will produce a special-edition custom USA Triathlon running shoe and a special-edition Team USA running shoe. The latter will be exclusively available for purchase by members of USA Triathlon’s amateur Team USA competing in 2020 and 2021 ITU Age Group World Championship competition.
The company will sponsor the Newton Run Course at each of USA Triathlon’s four owned National Championships —Collegiate Club & High School, Duathlon, Youth & Junior, and Toyota Age Group (sprint- and Olympic-distance) — in addition to the new Legacy Triathlon.
USA Triathlon annual members will receive an exclusive discount on Newton Running shoes, and will have access to special promotions throughout the year via the Multisport Zone e-newsletter, social media, USA Triathlon National Championship event bags and other channels.

Newton Running will also sponsor the newly-formed USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassador Team, outfitting 30 amateur athletes as they participate in races across the country while sharing the Foundation’s mission of opening pathways to triathlon for all. In addition to competing, Ambassador Team athletes will take part in community service and outreach initiatives at several USA Triathlon events annually.
