New Era Cap Company said it opened a new office for its Acton Sports Business Unit – 9842 Research Drive in Irvine, California. The company, based in Buffalo, said the move solidifies New Era's presence in the action sports industry and further communicate its commitment to this market.
Though New Era's Action Sports Business Unit has existed since 2004, the recent relocation to Southern California was created to provide additional service to their partners and position the brand as a permanent fixture in the action sports industry. The new office consists of dedicated resources to properly service its partners through design, marketing, customer service, sales, product development, production, and logistics.
“The move to California is an indication of our commitment to the Action Sports market and to our partners,” comments Wayne Best, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We have established partnerships with the brand leaders in each of the respective segments of the action sports market and we needed to establish roots in California to properly service them.”
New Era said that not only will the new location service its partners to the fullest; athletes, celebrities and the media have also taken an interest in the west coast operation. The office is stacked with the latest products, trends, and techniques that further establish New Era as the leader in headwear customization. From caps designed by the late Harold Hunter to snowboard pioneer Jake Burton, the office represents the true credibility and diversity New Era brings to the industry.
