New Balance announces the appointment of Lamar Lee as team uniform brand manager. Lamar will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, manufacturing and sales of New Balance's performance baseball/team uniform product line.

With more than 43-years of experience in the team uniform industry, Lee was most recently the owner and founder of Star Custom Uniforms where he developed a line of custom athletic uniforms primarily serving institutional markets, both on the field and on the court. Prior to that, he spent 34 years working at Russell Athletic covering the Arkansas and North Louisiana territories until he transferred to Dallas, Texas in 1988.

“The opportunity for New Balance to make an impact in the baseball industry through team uniforms is tremendous,” says Mark Cavanaugh, general manager of team sports and sports marketing. “Lamar’s expertise and track record with athletic uniforms will strengthen our commitment to deliver a high-quality uniform product line as we continue to expand our footprint in the baseball industry.”
