New Balance appointed Tobias Zingel as its new Germany head. Zingel, who was formerly New Balance’s head of product & marketing in Germany, succeeds Jürgen Konrad, who is leaving the company after six years.
“As one of the core European markets, Germany will play an incredibly important role for the global growth target of 50 percent by the end of 2020, and we look forward to doing our part towards achieving this goal,” said Zingel in a statement posted on ISPO.com.
New Balance is growing in the Performance and Lifestyle categories in Germany, and is experiencing “a strong momentum,” said Zingel. “Future Sport” is said to come as a new category in the near future, “which will combine the best of both worlds and pay into the global athleisure trend,” New Balance announced.
New Balance Germany also named Zeeshan Chaudhary as key account manager, Zeeshan Chaudhary as sales manager performance and Moritz Schürmann as sales manager lifestyle. The three will support senior sales manager Philipp Mund.
