Nautilus Inc.’s VP, GM of Commercial and Specialty Dennis Lee has transitioned out of his role and will depart the company at the close of 2016.
Octane Fitness veteran Ryan Simat has been appointed to fill Lee’s position as Nautilus, Inc. VP, GM, commercial and specialty. The transition is in process and Simat will assume full responsibilities when Lee steps down at the end of the year.
Simat previously served as VP of sales at Octane Fitness. He joined the company in 2003 as the first sales representative. In his new executive role, Simat will provide leadership for the global sales and service teams and the day-to-day operations of the Octane commercial and specialty businesses.
“Ryan’s depth of knowledge in the commercial and specialty markets and relationship with our customers through his long-term tenure with Octane Fitness as one of the first employees, makes him the ideal candidate to fill the role on the executive team. We are well positioned for accelerated growth in these sales channels under Ryan’s leadership,” said Bill McMahon, COO, Nautilus, Inc.
Nautilus Inc. acquired Octane Fitness on December 31, 2015.
