Nau, the urban + outdoor apparel company, has been awarded the 2010 BrandNew Award for Style from ispo, the International Sports Business Network. Nau will be featured at the trade organization's upcoming trade show in Munich, Germany, February 6-9, 2011, booth BN33, hall C2, ispo BrandNew Village.

For twenty years, the ispo BrandNew Awards have honored the best and most innovative sports products on the market from young entrepreneurs. The awards are considered to be a barometer of future trends, and act as a veritable springboard for developing young brands.

The 2010 BrandNew Awards were open to companies that were founded in 2007 or later. The products were judged by a panel of international experts in the fields of sports, marketing, and sports media, and were evaluated for their innovation, design, marketing, and market potential.

In winning the Style category, Nau has been recognized above all other international entries for their seamless ability to combine fashion and athleticism in an innovative way.

“We are thrilled to receive this award from ispo,” said Peter Kallen, Design Director of Nau. “It is a honor to be recognized for our signature style which combines beauty, performance and sustainability equally – never compromising one for the other.”

ispo is the world's biggest annual outdoor/winter sport show. The ispo BrandNew Awards is a unique opportunity for brands to present their innovative ideas to an international audience of more than 65,000 visitors, traders and journalists from more than 100 countries.
