We are seeking a National Sales Manager to help complement the existing sales team. This position requires an experienced professional with a solid track record in successful sales, excellent relationship building
capabilities, and strong core competencies in finance. The National Sales Manager should possess an authentic love of the product and the outdoors.
The successful candidate should be an experienced sales professional and have a thorough grasp of the outdoor specialty market and the various channels Eagle Creek utilizes within that market. The National Sales
Manager will be responsible for the growing sales in the specialty outdoor product category. This will be accomplished by applying their solid territory management skills, sales rep management skills, and outstanding
account management capabilities. A large part of growing his/her business will be through strategic account identification and management.
We are looking for someone who is familiar with the current challenges of the outdoor industry and its changing business environment. Specific
requirements include:
- Proven successful track record managing independent reps.
- Understanding of the outdoor industry specialty market and experience developing successful solutions for this particular markets retail dealers (with the ability to develop creative partnership ideas to drive business).
- Experience managing a $10M business (minimum) with at least 75 skus.
- Excellent business planning skills with strong follow through and detail-orientation to back it up.
- Autonomous self-starter
