NanoHorizons Inc., the provider of  nanosilver antimicrobial solutions
marketed under the SmartSilver brand, has consolidated its corporate
offices, manufacturing operations, and laboratories into a new facility
located in Bellefonte, PA. In addition to providing space needed to
meet current requirements, the headquarters building is also designed
and equipped to enable future production growth and accommodate
expanded research, development, and testing activities.

“This
move allows us to take full advantage of the efficiencies of
integrating all operations under one roof,” stated David Woodle,
Chairman and CEO of NanoHorizons. “In addition, it also affords us the
opportunity to validate how our customers in the textile, health care
and industrial markets use SmartSilver antimicrobial protection to
enhance their products. We have both a state of the art R&D lab and
dedicated Bio-lab to support broad integration testing and new
application development.”

Originally founded by Penn State
University scientists, NanoHorizons is a graduate of the incubator
program for start-up companies supported by CBICC (Chamber of Business
and Industry of Centre County).
