Nanamica, the Japanese technical contemporary menswear label, is opening its first store outside Japan in the SoHo district of Manhattan.
The store at 125 Wooster Street will open on August 23.
Nanamica New York is the second Nanamica brand store to open, following Nanamica Tokyo, which opened last year in October.
The New York store will have a limited selection of The North Face Purple Label, Nanamica’s collaboration line with The North Face.
The store is designed in collaboration with Japanese architect, Taichi Kuma and in the image of a “beach house,” expressing the free and relaxed feeling of the seaside, but with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic sensibility.
