MyFitnessPal, the global nutrition and food tracking app, has appointed Amit Patel as chief revenue officer for Advertising. In this role, Patel will lead revenue strategy, drive business expansion and identify new growth opportunities to strengthen the platform.

Patel most recently served as general manager of Strategic Initiatives for Uber’s advertising division, and was instrumental in scaling the company’s Grocery & Retail onsite and offsite ads business. As senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships and Monetization at Drizly, an Uber company, he built and oversaw its retail media network Drizly Ads and its corporate partnership division Drizly for Business. He has also held leadership roles at NBC Universal Peacock, Amazon, AT&T, and DirecTV, focusing on revenue strategy, digital innovation and business development.
