M&W Design has acquired Travel Posters, an Englewood, CO-based business founded by artist Blair Hamill. His posters and paintings capture the American landscape, seascapes, and mountain vistas, which he fell in love with as a kid while traveling with his seven family members, crisscrossing the U.S. in a 1960s camper van, and that extended through to adulthood.

Travel Posters will continue to operate under its current name with its existing website, TravelPosters.com, with uninterrupted service. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mike Whalen, the founder of M&W Design, said, “We acquired Travel Posters because of the exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and strong relationships Blair and Lauri established. Our goal is to carry forward the legacy they’ve built, as Travel Posters naturally aligns with M&W’s values.”

“Through strict adherence to sustainable practices and ethical material sourcing, M&W Design ensures that every product not only stands out for its originality but is responsibly sourced and manufactured in alignment with B-Corp ethos,” the company said in its statement.

“Our goal has always been to create designs that tell stories and resonate with people’s personal experiences. With the addition of Travel Posters, we’re now able to offer more ways for customers to celebrate their adventures and passions through beautiful, high-quality products,” added Whalen. “Blair and Lauri have cultivated an extraordinary following through their distinctive artistic style, impeccable design sense, and diverse collection of captivating locations. “We are truly honored that they’ve entrusted us to carry forward their artistic legacy, bringing their exceptional work to our wholesale and retail customers while expanding both audiences.”
