MTN Approach has hired John Kaiser to help build its business systems as it enters its second season after launching its foldable snowboard for the backcountry.  Kaiser will be managing projects and people to help grow brand recognition worldwide while also heading up the daily operations of the business.

Formerly the logistics, marketing and team guru for POW Gloves of Seattle, Kaiser has loads of experience in multiple facets of business to aid MTN Approach’s early growth. Following the success of the 2011 launch and flagship model, MTN Approach is offering an extended product line for 2012-13 with companion products that will help you access the backcountry with greater ease.

“When it became clear that MTN Approach needed a fulltime presence in our office, I knew Kaiser should be here,” said Cory Smith, founder of MTN Approach. “After working with him for years at Mt. Hood, I knew he had the depth of experience, the connections and the work ethic that we need to keep the excitement behind MTN Approach building as it has in the last year.“

Launched at the 2011 SIA show with its award-winning foldable approach ski, MTN Approach is a Backcountry Snowboard brand by and for snowboarders.  Based in Ketchum, Idaho, MTN Approach is dedicated to designing and manufacturing tools for backcountry snowboarding that are innovative, lightweight and reliable.
