Mountainsmith named BRM Reps and the Frontier Group as recipients of its 2012 Anvil Award for Agency of the Year
BRM represent Mountsmith in the Upper Midwest and is led by Bruce and Michelle Marsh. Frontier Group covers the Pacific Northwest and is headed up by John Morioka and Scott Ohsman.

In a shaky economic environment, both groups led a surge in sales and market share in their individual territories to secure the honor, said Jay Getzel, director of sales and marketing for the Colorado-based supplier of outdoor packs and bags.

A strong work ethic, combined with exemplary product and service back-up, enabled both groups to take home the honor. Their goal was to actively maintain existing dealer relationships while taking advantage of their respective territories in order to build the Mountainsmith brand. They focused on providing targeted product assortments that fit the needs of their markets.

2012 marked another strong year for the Mountainsmith brand in terms of sales, profit and margin and our efforts were buoyed by the exceptional efforts of the BRM Reps and Frontier Group, Getzel said. We thank them for their continued dedication to top notch customer service, innovative selling programs and support of our iconic brand.

The Frontier Group is proud to win this great award, said Ohsman. The Anvil is a great part of this brands heritage and future. We could not have reached our goals without the incredible effort and hard work from everyone on the Mountainsmith team and the strength of this partnership is a big reason we have been able to succeed.

Im speechless but honored to receive the award, knowing that the success is due to a solid, value driven product line and exceptional management support, added Bruce Marsh.
