Mountain Hardwear released a video to commemorate moments shared through its 2015 Finding Winter ambassador program.

“The success of our Finding Winter program has been unimaginable,” said Mountain Hardwear Marketing Director Chris Harges. “Not only have we inspired these select few to explore the outdoors and push their own limits, but they’ve inspired countless individuals on social media to follow their lead.”

The 76-second Findingwinter Finale video can be view on Mountain Hardwear's Vimeo channel.

This fall, Mountain Hardwear selected 51 ambassadors from hundreds of applicants. The group consisted of athletes, photographers, videographers, social media pros and big personalities from across the US.

To kick off the season, each ambassador received a custom gear kit that included a Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket, a Plasmic Ion Shell, a Scrambler 30 OutDry pack and a combination of gloves and beanies. Starting in November and wrapping up in March, each week the ambassadors received a challenge from Mountain Hardwear, designed to inspire them to create and share unique stories of winter adventure. The Finding Winter ambassadors were asked to tag their posts with #findingwinter, enabling the brand to follow and share their experiences.

Examples of the weekly challenges included: Go the Long Way: “Sometimes it’s the longest route, that has the largest reward”; Share the Stoke: “Bring someone somewhere they’ve never been before”; Novice for a Day: “Pick up a new sport and remember what it’s like to be a beginner.”
