O.F. Mossberg and Sons, Inc., America’s oldest family-owned and operated firearms manufacturer, announced the hiring of marketing executive, Richard (Rich) Kirk, to the role of senior director of marketing, effective January 1, 2018. Kirk brings 15 years of experience in various marketing capacities with consulting, financial and manufacturing-focused corporations; most recently serving as head of marketing communications for Kimber Mfg., Inc.
In his new role, Kirk will be responsible for developing and implementing Mossberg’s corporate brand strategies; website management and digital initiatives including new product campaigns, consumer promotions and web advertising; oversight of corporate partnerships; and trade show/event management. Kirk will also manage Mossberg’s internal marketing team as well as direct the company’s creative agency initiatives.
