Moosejaw will offer same-day shipping service in Chicago and Denver-Boulder starting on Dec. 22 – just in time for the holidays.
“Same-day delivery provides a differentiated service to our customers and allows us to stretch our holiday shipping window to the last possible second,” said Eoin Comerford, Moosejaw’s president and CEO, “It’s part of our constant push to blur the gap between digital and physical retail channels.”
Moosejaw is partnering with two, leading-edge partners to make Same Day Shipping possible FedEx Corp. and Monetate Inc. FedEx will provide the shipping service as part of its newly introduced SameDay City service. Customers will be able to order until 5pm local time and still receive the product the same day. Monetate will customize the web experience on Moosejaw.com for visitors from the Chicago and Denver-Boulder areas.
These visitors will see a lightbox that announces the Same-Day service and allows them to browse available items. Monetate’s client-side browser technology will then replace the Add To Cart button with a Call the Store button. The user can return to the normal online shopping process simply by navigating away from the store-specific inventory search.

Moosejaw will offer Same-day shipping for $29.95 per order, but during the holiday launch period, the service will be only $14.95 for orders over $99.
