Mongoose, a brand of Dorel Industries Inc., now offers their full line of bikes, at a range of price points, on Amazon. This is also the first time in more than seven years U.S. consumers are able purchase the brand’s high-performance bikes inspired by Mongoose pro athletes on Amazon.

“Consumers are increasingly moving online for not only bike research, but also purchases,” says Milissa Rick, senior director of marketing for Mongoose. “By expanding the Mongoose line to Amazon, we’re meeting the consumer where they’re already looking. We’re unlocking a world of possibilities at their fingertips.”

Part of this move was spurred by an increase in the demand for high performance bikes across the U.S. due to the success of U.S.-based Mongoose Pro Riders such as Dirt Rider of the Year and X Games Silver Medalist Kevin Peraza and world renowned mountain bike athlete Chris Akrigg.

“Since the beginning, our efforts have always been rooted in cultivating young talent and providing access for all levels of riders,” says Steve Wilcox, marketing manager for Mongoose. “Mongoose’s availability on Amazon allows us to truly live up to this.”

Some of the bikes now offered on Amazon include the Teocali Pro Wheel, Switchback Expert Mountain Bike and the Legion L60.

Dorel Sports, a segment of Dorel Industries Inc.,  owns one of the most comprehensive portfolios of brands in the bicycling and recreational industries, including Cannondale, Schwinn, GT, Mongoose, Caloi, Iron Horse, Kid Trax, Charge, Guru, Fabric and Sugoi.
