Mizuno USA, Inc. has hired Jessica Klodnicki to serve as the company’s new vice president of brand marketing and management. Klodnicki will begin her duties on Oct. 25.


With over 15 years of consumer brand marketing experience, Klodnicki will oversee Mizuno USA’s recently created brand marketing department, with an emphasis on enhancing brand awareness and value and strengthening Mizuno’s position as an industry leader.  Klodnicki will also be a member of Mizuno USA, Inc.’s management team.

Klodnicki joins Mizuno USA, Inc. having spent the last six years with Newell Rubbermaid, where she most recently served as global VP of marketing for Newell’s Fine Writing and Luxury Accessories Global Business Unit.  In this role, Klodnicki was responsible for leading the global brand and product strategy, retail merchandising, integrated marketing communications, online and consumer insights functions for their portfolio of global premium writing and accessories brands. During her tenure with Newell Rubbermaid, Klodnicki also held the positions of VP of marketing and sales for their Technology Global Business Unit and VP of marketing for their Beauty & Style Global Business Unit.


Before joining Newell Rubbermaid, Klodnicki spent nine years with Kids II, Inc., a privately held infant and children’s products company.  Klodnicki held a variety of positions within Kids II, Inc. including VP of marketing where she led its overall global brand strategy, marketing, licensing and new product development activities. Prior positions within Kids II were senior brand manager and product manager. Klodnicki spent the Fall of 1994 serving as a sports marketing intern on the US Olympic Committee assigned to the U.S. Bobsled Team just after the 1994 Lake Placid Olympics.

Klodnicki received a Bachelor Degree in Advertising & Public Relations from the University of West Florida and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University.  Klodnicki currently resides in Paris, but is in the process of relocating to Atlanta to join Mizuno USA, Inc.  She is an enthusiastic amateur athlete who enjoys running events, triathlons and golf.
