Mizuno announced a new partnership with the LPGA. The Japanese manufacturer will have a presence at various professional and amateur women’s events in 2021 and produce content for the LPGA’s Women’s Network.

“We are excited to begin a long-term partnership with the LPGA,” said Jeremy Galbreth, director, Golf, Mizuno USA. “It’s great to have a presence in the women’s game again and to be able to create greater brand awareness among female golfers. Our equipment is designed for all golfers, and our fitting process is very much by ability rather than by gender.”

At the Tour level, the equipment truck that travels to each LPGA Tour event will now feature the Mizuno logo, while at this year’s LPGA Professionals National Championship at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA from July 23-24. Mizuno will host a demo on the range with the opportunity for custom fitting.

Mizuno will also be present at the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, FL from November 18-21, where the CME Lesson Zone will be presented by Mizuno.

In the amateur game, Mizuno will be present at the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Cup Finals at Kingsmill Resort from August 13-14. There will be display space on the range where custom fitting and the opportunity to buy Mizuno products will be available. Mizuno will also be present at the Championship Open to be played at the Palm Course at Walt Disney World, Florida from November 5-6.

Across the LPGA’s digital and social networks, Mizuno will be the presenting sponsor of #LPGATips. This series will bring fans tips from LPGA professionals and Tour players that have enhanced their game. Mizuno will also produce content for the LPGA’s Women’s Network focusing on its custom fitting process and promoting its mantra of “Fit by ability, not by Gender.”

“We’re excited to get this message across,” added Galbreth. “The LPGA Women’s Network reaches a broad spectrum of female golfers. It’s a great opportunity for us to explain our custom fitting process using our industry-leading Swing DNA software and shaft optimizer via such a widely respected platform.”
