MidwayUSA announces the promotion of Shawn
Henninger to the position of merchandising team application development manager.
Shortly after earning a Bachelor of Science
in Computer Science from Quincy University, Shawn began his career at MidwayUSA
as an application developer. Over the last six years Shawn has contributed to
several projects including the Nitro Express Shipping System, order taking
services, front-end merchandising applications and the website.
“I feel privileged to work for a company that believes in investing in
their employees,” said Henninger. “Over the past six years Ive had
some great mentors who have helped prepare me for this new chapter in my career
with MidwayUSA. Im looking forward to the new challenges that await me in my
new position as the Merchandising Team Application Development Manager.”
In his new position, Henninger will be charged with providing strategic and
tactical insight to application development for the merchandising team. He will
be responsible for supporting the analysis and improvement of existing business
applications and systems, and will help drive the implementation of new
innovative solutions to facilitate growth and sustainability of the company.
“The merchandising application development Team is key to improving
MidwayUSA’s purchasing and product management processes,” said James
Roberts, development operations manager. “Shawn has been with
MidwayUSA for many years and will bring valuable experience from different
parts of the business to the team. His ability to understand the impact of
MidwayUSA’s merchandising systems on our customers will be invaluable to the merchandising
department.
