Megabass of America, the North American arm of Japan’s manufacturer of builder of fishing tackle, promoted Ryan Buttermore to VP of sales and marketing effective January 2024. Buttermore has been the company’s national sales manager since 2017. Previously, he was a fishing tackle buyer at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Megabass of America said Buttermore has “significantly contributed to Megabass’s growth and market expansion during his tenure as NSM.”
In his new role, Buttermore will lead the company’s sales and marketing efforts to meet the evolving needs of customers, media partners and anglers.
“Ryan’s ability to work deeply with our customers and identify nuanced opportunities against the backdrop of long-term brand strategy has proven instrumental in delivering on the Megabass promise,” said Yuskei Murayama, CEO of Megabass of America. “Ryan’s keen insight, analytical approach, and strong leadership will be invaluable as we continue to make strides in the North American market.”
