Marmot Mountain, LLC, will open its newly renovated flagship store early next month just one block off of Union Square at 165 Post Street in the heart of San Francisco.
This will be Marmot’s largest retail store to date and will feature a wide assortment of the company’s finest outdoor products.
Marmot, which was established in 1974 and is headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA, has been a leading outdoor apparel and equipment manufacturer for more than three decades.
In 2009, the company opened its first retail concept stores in world-class resort ski destinations Park City, Utah and Aspen, CO. In November, 2010, Marmot opened another concept store in Squaw Valley, CA. The Marmot San Francisco flagship store opens doors to the public this Friday, March 4th.
“Our San Francisco store should generate a lot of excitement for Bay Area residents and visitors from around the world who enjoy spending time outdoors,” explains Mark Martin, President of Marmot Mountain LLC and Jarden Technical Apparel, a division of the Jarden Corporation and Marmot’s parent company. “I think people will be inspired by the quality and selection of Marmot products we have to offer them,” adds Martin.
