Mark’s, the Canadian retailer owned by Canadian Tire and sister company to SportChek, Sports Experts, Pro Hockey Life, and Helly Hansen, introduced two new industrial-exclusive retail stores—Mark’s WorkPro and L’Equipeur Pro.
The company said it would open four stores in 2023, embarking on “a new strategic direction” for a “seamlessly tailored shopping experience.”
Mark’s said the design ethos for each store revolves around “enhancing convenience for industrial patrons.” with curated product assortments geared toward each specific local market and the “industrial needs of the community,” featuring Dakota, Carhartt and Timberland Pro brands.
“These stores are meticulously crafted to cater to the exacting needs of our industrial clientele,” said PJ Czank, president of Mark’s. “Our team remains steadfast in our commitment to enriching our customers’ lives, and simplicity plays a pivotal role in achieving this goal. The WorkPro and L’Equipeur Pro locations are poised to offer industrial customers an expansive, dedicated selection of work gear, all within an expedited and efficient shopping environment.”
Mark’s WorkPro and L’Equipeur Pro opened in Edmonton, near Refinery Row, with store locations to open in St. Catharine’s and Etobicoke, Ontario, as well as Pointe-aux-Trembles, Quebec.
