With the start of the MLB (Major League Baseball) Divisional Series, Majestic Athletic will be airing its first network television commercial.   Majestic’s spot is one of few product ads that feature actual MLB on-field footage.  

“MLB has been a tremendous partner in helping us bring together video and voice-over that captures the excitement of being part of the game.   As well, the MLB Players Association also helped us develop a spot that enabled us to showcase jerseys of breakthrough players,” said Jim Pisani, President of VF Licensed Sports Group.

The ad promotes Majestic's new replica jerseys launched early this year.  The new replica offers a significant improvement by incorporating official fonts for player names and numbers.

“Look around the ballpark and you see more jerseys than ever.  Fans wear Majestic replicas because they are truly part of the team, the new jersey helps fans look the part,” said Michael Johnson, Majestic Marketing Director.

Majestic’s TV spot will run throughout TBS coverage of the Division Series and on ESPN’s Baseball Tonight postseason coverage.
