Advanstar Fashion Group is moving all of its South Hall resources to other parts of the Las Vegas Convention Center for its February MAGIC apparel trade show.

The move, according to published reports, reflects the contraction of trade shows due to the difficult economy as well as a move to consolidate all it's men's brands in a centralized location.
As part of the move, the show's young men’s showcase, including premium streetwear vendors, will relocate to the Central Hall, the current stage for the show’s classic and contemporary vendors, from the South Hall.

WSA is also seeing a mass exodus of athletic and outdoor brands.  Many are relocating to the OR or cutting out the trade show altogether.  SEW was told by a number of vendors that the South Hall has shrunk by 50%.
