Macy’s, Inc. hired Michael Krans as VP of Macy’s Media Network, overseeing the retailer’s in-house media publisher, which connects its advertising partners with Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s customers.

Krans reports to Max Magni, Macy’s, Inc.’s chief customer and digital officer.

With extensive experience leading sales and marketing teams focused on digital media, e-commerce and publishing, Krans joins Macy’s, Inc. following his most recent role leading the fashion team at Walmart Connect, where he partnered across the company to drive revenue growth with its largest apparel suppliers.

Krans previously worked at media publishing houses Hearst and Condé Nast, overseeing revenue growth, advertising and marketing with an emphasis on retail, home, beauty, and fashion campaigns.

Krans has a BS in International Marketing from the University of Minnesota, Carson School of Management.
