Oxford United Football Club announced a new partnership with the Italian brand Macron to become its technical kit partner from the start of the 2022/23 season. Macron replaces Puma.
The partnership will see the Bologna-based suppliers produce the official kit and training wear for Oxford United’s men’s, women’s and Academy teams until the summer of 2026.
“English football once again proves to be our’ second home’. We are delighted to count Oxford United among the clubs that have chosen Macron as their technical partner,” said Andrea Palilla, Macron UK and Ireland country manager. “A club rich in history with which to undertake an important project and develop a unique and exclusive collection for athletes and fans, driven by technical innovation, stylistic research, attention to detail, and the club’s history and tradition.”
Niall McWilliams, managing director, Oxford United, said, “I am delighted we have launched our new partnership with Macron, having worked alongside them in preparation for the 2022/23 season. We have been impressed with the innovation demonstrated to date, and we hope our supporters will be very satisfied with the new kit offerings when they are revealed later this summer.”
Puma has been the kit sponsor since 2018.
