Macpac Wilderness Equipment has hired two additional sales reps to service its U.S. business. Since first entering the U.S. market three years ago, Macpac has opened 45 key dealers, strategically located throughout the US, and has doubled its business each year. Most of the growth has occurred in Macpac’s foundation accounts which have proven to be a successful strategy for the company in its Australasia and European businesses.

To manage the growing New England and Mid-Atlantic states, Macpac has hired 15 year outdoor veteran Andy Correll, who represents highly regarded outdoor brands Lowa, Tecnica, Pacific Outdoor Equipment and Life is Good. For the Rocky Mountain Territory, Macpac has added Tim DeYoung who has been in the outdoor and ski industries for the past 30 years representing companies such as AKU, Breezer, Maker AT and Volkl.
